Part-Time Project Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager (Part-Time) to join our NvisionKC! This individual will be responsible for overseeing projects from kickoff to signoff, driving towards completion on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Initiation and Planning: Conduct initial project kickoff calls, recurring status meetings, and occasional ad-hoc meetings as necessary.  Manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budget, ensuring all aspects are documented and agreed upon.

Execution: Track and manage project progress against the plan, adjusting as necessary. Assist team members with prioritization based on criticality and predicted timelines.

Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on project status, milestones, and potential changes.  Address potential risks or issues as they arise and facilitate communication between customer and NvisionKC team as appropriate.

Quality Assurance: Track development issues and assign to the appropriate resource for resolution, to ensure that completed projects meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.

Closure: Ensure that all project tasks are completed, receive project sign-off from customer, document and communicate lessons learned for future engagements.

Schedule: Weekdays (Mon-Fri), 8:30am-1:30pm Central

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any field. Advanced degree or PMP certification is not required.
• Previous experience in project management with a software development or technology-focused company.
• Knowledgeable in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Exceptional organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
• Strong client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
