Jayson Tobias is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at NvisionKC, bringing with him over two decades of active involvement in the Kansas City IT community. Throughout his career, he has held various roles, including engineer, consultant, instructor, architect, and senior manager, with a strong focus on enterprise networking, voice and video communications, data center, and security.
Jayson's clientele spans a wide spectrum, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, and covering diverse industries such as retail, financial, medical, legal, educational, municipal, and manufacturing.
His academic achievements are equally impressive. Jayson graduated as valedictorian with a Bachelor's in Telecommunications Management from DeVry in 2002. In 2005, he attained Cisco's prestigious CCIE Routing and Switching certification, showcasing his technical expertise. Later, he completed his MBA in Finance through the University of Kansas in 2012, adding a strong business acumen to his skill set. As a technical consultant, Jayson earned a reputation for fearlessly tackling complex problems that others were hesitant to approach. As a manager, he exhibited exceptional leadership skills, undertaking ground-up rebuilds of entire IT departments, skillfully integrating staff and technologies from acquired companies, and successfully developing multiple service offerings.

Outside of office hours, Jayson actively participates in various community and cultural events, attending local German and Ukrainian gatherings. He can often be found enjoying time at the Shawnee Mission Dog Park and contributing his expertise as an instructor at the Culinary Center of Kansas City.
An avid traveler, Jayson indulges in exploring different cultures, studying foreign languages, and embarking on scuba diving adventures both locally and abroad.
