Job description

The High-Performance Pilot

This role is the backbone of our project execution. You are the one who ensures the technical team is unblocked, the client is confident, and the solution is rock solid.

You’ll excel here if:

  • You Love the Build: You have an innate passion for leading people and organizing chaos into a streamlined roadmap.
  • You Have "The Sixth Sense": You have a trained ear and eye. You notice when a project "feels" off—maybe a developer is stuck on a logic loop, or a client's tone shifted in a meeting—and you step in to course-correct before it becomes a problem.
  • You Connect the Dots: You take the role of lead communicator seriously. Your client reports are crisp, your team assignments are tight, and you articulate risks with total clarity. You don't just move information; you ensure it is understood.
  • You Are a Friction-Killer: When problems arise (and they will), you collaborate, you resolve, and you turn friction into momentum. You know how to get the absolute best out of every team member by clearing the path for them.
  • You Own the Outcome: You take pride in a project that lands on time, on budget, and exceeds expectations.

The True Responsibilities

  • Precision Orchestration: Manage the "Golden Triangle" of Scope, Schedule, and Quality for our most complex builds.
  • Collaborative Resolution: Act as the bridge between client needs and technical reality. You resolve misunderstandings and keep everyone rowing in the same direction.
  • Proactive Navigation: Use your intuition and data to spot risks early. You don't just report status; you manage the outcome.
  • Toolbox Mastery: Keep the shop organized using ClickUp, Harvest, and the full Microsoft 365 suite.

Definition of Success

  • Zero Stalls: Projects move through the lifecycle with high velocity because you’ve removed the roadblocks.
  • Team Synergy: Our developers and architects feel supported and clear on their mission because of your leadership.
  • Client Evangelism: Our clients don't just like the software; they trust the process you lead.

The Role’s Specifics

Experience: 3–7 years of professional experience where you have already established your "work rhythm."

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or Project Management preferred; we value the "get-it factor" above all else, so applied experience will be strongly considered.

Location: On-site in the Overland Park/Kansas City Metro area for daily coordination with the CEO.

Travel: Approximately 10–15% travel required for off-site meetings and company events.

Compensation: Competitive market rate.
