The Technical Sales Manager
This role is the growth engine of our shop. You are the one who ensures the pipeline is high-octane, the client is bought-in, and every deal we sign is strategically sound and rock solid.
You’ll excel here if:
- You Relationship Miner: You don't wait for a lead list. You understand that the best business comes from relationships, networking, and mining the trust you've already built in the KC tech community.
- You Speak "Both" Languages: You can translate a customer’s and their organization’s "big picture" goals into actionable technical requirements for our dev team to size and estimate.
- You Are a Trust-Builder: In our shop, trust is the product. You set realistic expectations and communicate with total clarity.
- You Own the Momentum: You understand that in our shop, speed is our unfair advantage. You kill friction by being the most responsive person in the deal.
The True Responsibilities
- Relationship Orchestration: Identify and cultivate deep-rooted partnerships in the Kansas City Metro and beyond. You are the face of NvisionKC.
- Solution Crafting: Consult with clients to diagnose "pain points." You frame the high-level solution—whether it’s M365, CoPilot, custom AI, or process automation—well enough that our architects can take the baton and run.
- End-to-End Ownership: You own the full cycle. From the initial "What if?" to the final proposal and negotiation, you are the steward of the deal.
- Expectation Management: You kill the friction of uncertainty. You ensure the client knows exactly what we are building, what it costs, and when it lands.
Definition of Success
- High-Velocity Pipeline: You’ve built a self-sustaining engine of qualified opportunities through your network, ensuring the shop is always fed with elite work.
- Zero-Friction Handoffs: Our technical team feels confident and clear on every deal you bring in because you’ve scoped the "what" and the "why" with precision.
- Iron-Clad Trust: Our clients don't just sign contracts; they feel like they’ve gained a strategic partner before the first line of code is even written.
The Role’s Specifics
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience where you have already established your "work rhythm."
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or Project Management preferred; we value the "get-it factor" above all else, so applied experience will be strongly considered.
Location: On-site in the Overland Park/Kansas City Metro area for daily coordination with the CEO.
Travel: Approximately 10–15% travel required for off-site meetings and company events.
Compensation: Competitive market rate.
